Enfield in Bloom office to close?

We asked Cllr Chris Bond whether there is any substance in the rumour that his administration is considering closing the administration office for Enfield in Bloom.
He replied:
I can assure you and your members that their is no substance in the rumour that the administration is considering closing the administration office at this time.
What I have said is that all of the Parks Department, now it is under the Environment Directorate, is being reviewed this year.
To assist that review the members of staff who run Enfield in Bloom have been asked to come and work from the Civic Centre where all the support they need to run the service is here.
You as a local tax payer would expect us to constantly review our services given the amount of Government cuts we have to find.
